The Shiftometer application (hereinafter "the Application") provides awareness and support tools to address the evolution of professions in the era of Artificial Intelligence. The service includes:
- A global statistics dashboard (Worldometer)
- An automation risk exposure estimation tool (Timer)
- Action plans and an interactive AI-driven advisory service (AI Coach)
2. Important Disclaimer
The User acknowledges and agrees that:
- Nature of Data: Statistics, risk percentages, and dates provided by the "Timer" are estimates based on forward-looking models and current trends. They do not, under any circumstances, constitute certain predictions or scientific truths.
- No Legal or Financial Advice: Career transition paths and training advice are provided for informational purposes only. Shiftometer does not guarantee any results regarding employability or professional success. The User is solely responsible for their career decisions.
- AI Limitations: Responses generated by the "AI Coach" are produced automatically. Despite moderation efforts, they may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations.
3. Permitted Use and Restrictions
Access to the "AI Coach" is strictly limited to its intended purpose: professional orientation and adaptation. The User agrees to refrain from:
- Using the AI to generate inappropriate, illegal, or irrelevant content (e.g., homework help, recipes, coding out of context)
- Attempting to bypass technical limits (jailbreaking) or saturating the API through automated queries
In the event of misuse, Shiftometer reserves the right to suspend access to the service without prior notice.
4. Intellectual Property
The Application architecture, the database of 2,933 occupations, and proprietary educational content are the exclusive property of Shiftometer. Any reproduction or extraction of the database is strictly prohibited.
5. Pricing and Payments
- Certain features (Detailed Action Plan, AI Coach) are subject to a one-time payment or a subscription
- Payments are processed securely by our provider (Stripe)
- In accordance with legislation on digital content, the right of withdrawal (refund) cannot be exercised once access to premium content has been initiated or consumed
6. Data Protection (GDPR)
Shiftometer is committed to protecting your privacy:
- Collected Data: Selected profession, checklist progress, and queries submitted to the AI Coach
- Purpose: Service improvement and coaching personalization
- Storage: Your data is stored locally (AsyncStorage) and on secure servers for Cloud functions. You have the right to access and delete your data via the Application settings
7. Modification of Terms
Shiftometer reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time to reflect technological or regulatory changes. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
